Today, I made homemade churros with my mom. I'm reading a book that has churros in it and wanted to try making them myself. The book is set in Spain and the main character has churros for breakfast with hot chocolate. That sounded really good!
We don't have a fryer, so I found a recipe that bakes them in the oven.
Luckily, we already had all the ingredients needed. They turned out pretty good!!
We didn't have the correct tip for the piping bag, so if we wanted them to be big, we had to push really hard and pushing really hard made them squiggly not straight. But those are my favorite because they look like unicorn horns! If you want them to be straight, you'd have to make them thin.
